How is COVID-19 affecting Storyline services?
We are now offering in-person weekend services and you’re invited to worship with us in the environment that makes you the most comfortable. We will be worshiping at the Laurelwood Campus Barn, where there is plenty of space for social distancing and the large entrances allow for free airflow. We’ve installed industrial heaters and have warm drinks to keep you comfortable and cozy.
We are keeping our finger on the pulse of our city and state’s moment-by-moment changes and are ready to move back to only online services if that becomes necessary. If you’re joining us in-person this weekend, check out the safety guidelines and details below to get an idea of what to expect when you arrive.
Join us Saturdays at 11am!*
*No live online service this weekend.
**COVID-19 UPDATE (DECEMBER 3rd): Lane County is in the ‘Extreme Risk’ category, limiting faith-based organizations to 25% capacity or a maximum of 100 people indoors or 150 people outdoors.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
What sanitation measures will be in place?
Our team will disinfect surfaces throughout the barn and the bathrooms before and after the service to create the safest possible environment for you. Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed at the entrance to the barn.
What about physical distancing?
We are setting up the barn with small clusters of chairs set six feet apart, so that we can all maintain healthy physical distancing. If you have not had previous contact with another person or family, we encourage you not to sit together and to maintain six feet of distance. We also strongly encourage everyone to refrain from hugging and handshakes.
What about face coverings and masks?
We ask that you wear a face mask or covering when you come to church. Our staff will be wearing them as well. If you don’t have a face mask, our team will have extras available upon request.
What if I am considered high risk?
If you or someone in your family is considered high-risk for severe illness or you/they are immunocompromised, we encourage you to continue worshipping with us online.
What if I don’t feel comfortable coming in person yet?
We want you to feel totally safe and comfortable, and if you don’t feel ready to return to in-person services, we completely understand and look forward to worshipping with you online.
What about fellowship meals?
At this time, we will not be holding any church-organized fellowship meals after the service. However, feel free to bring your own food and eat on campus.
What about giving?
We will have a giving box at the back of the barn. However, to help stop the spread of germs, we encourage those who are able to give your tithes and offerings through our website, our app, or texting any dollar amount to 84321.
If any of the following applies to you, please worship with us online:
In the last 14 days, you have tested positive, been experiencing symptoms, or have a known exposure to COVID-19.
If you are in a high risk group or you care for someone who is high risk/immunocompromised.
We look forward to worshipping with you!
