Storyline Kids is designed with your child in mind! At Storyline, kids experience safe, age-appropriate, gospel-centered lessons and activities where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We offer programs for kids from birth through high school.
WHAT TO EXPECT
On your first visit, just look for the Storyline Kids check-in area. You'll be greeted by a Storyline Kids team member eager to meet your family and to explain the different kids programs we have available. We'll be there every step of the way (right up to your child's room), so feel free to ask questions!
Because we value safety, we will need some information at that time including: family member's name, child's name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).
WHAT WE VALUE
The safety of your child is our highest priority. That’s why you’ll receive a unique parent identification number each time you check your child in. Additionally, every volunteer is screened and participates in a background check. We make every effort to care for your kids and insure that they are safe.
CREATIVE BIBLICAL TEACHING
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! And we strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want all kids to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
PARTNERING WITH PARENTS
We believe that God has called parents to be the major contributors in their child’s spiritual growth, so it’s our desire to partner with parents in teaching kids the gospel.
A FEW GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
We have a secure check-in system. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion and you will keep the matching tag. To pick up your child after the service, please present your corresponding identification tag to one of our Storyline Kids team member.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, a Storyline Kids team member will text message you. Please keep your phone on vibrate throughout the Bible study and/or worship service.
KEEPING KIDS HEALTHY
We want to provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment. We request that you keep your child out of class if they are ill or potentially contagious (i.e. fever, vomiting, stomach ache, untreated rash, eye infection, etc.).
THE RIDE HOME
On your way home, be sure to ask your child, “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal for every child to have an answer to this question.
RESOURCES FOR PARENT
The goal of Storyline Kids is to engage kids and empower families. Moms and dads regularly ask us to share resources with them. Visit our kids resource page to find a list of suggested books, websites, and ideas that can help you teach your kids about Jesus.
Storyline Kids is fueled by the efforts of our amazing volunteers, and we are always looking to grow our team. If you are interested in serving on the Storyline Kids team, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
