You can’t change the world all by yourself, but together we can change their world.

Poverty in Honduras is generational. Parents are not able to provide their children with either resources or education necessary for them to extricate themselves from their circumstances. Thus, each generation follows in the footsteps of their parents. While public schools exist, the environment is corrupt—gangs actively prey upon the children, drugs and crime are commonplace, and girls are especially vulnerable to abuse and rape. What’s needed is a safe environment for learning!

Storyline Church is currently partnering with an orphanage called Pan American Health Services. For the past 3 years, we are committed to helping orphans know Jesus by providing for their basic needs and funding their education. Located only a few minutes from PAHS is Centro Educacional Adventista, or CEA, a private, K-12 Adventist school. Not only does it provide a safe environment for learning, its curriculum is one of the best in the region, teaching sought-after skills, like English and reading, that set children up for success.

Depending on the grade of the student, tuition is roughly $1200 per year—per year! Think about that, for less than $4/day you can equip a child with the tools necessary to end generational poverty and give them a brighter future.
